bloomers

here's another project that i found thru pinterest that i actually made. you can find the tutorial with pattern here: http://www.coletterie.com/colette-patterns-news/free-pattern-to-download-the-madeleine-mini-bloomers they're the madeleine mini bloomers. i bought the fabric on spoonflower in a nice silk crepe de chine. this was my first time sewing with silk, and i have to say it was  nearly as difficult as i was imagining. i actually had the fabric long before i got gutsy enough to sew it. the pattern in general is rather easy, and they turned out cute and comfy. and i had enough left over fabric to create a quick hair scarf to match.
