monday manicure

this one actually is a professional manicure. it was my birthday weekend so my 5 year old and i went to get salon manicures. she's been wanting to for a while now and we just weren't finding the time. we both picked out very similar colors, sparkly reds. mine is a little brighter and orangier and hers is a little darker and bluer. i didn't actually read the names of either polishes but i'll need to go back and check mine because it's a really great color, i believe they were essie polish. the bottom left photo is alex's little nails, which were already chipping by the time i got around to taking the photo. that's kind of expected though for a 5 year old. even though they're chipped now she can't wait to show everyone at daycare/school her pretty nails.
