monday manicure

the teal polish is by essie and it's called turquoise & caicos. the white is o.p.i. alpine snow. the essie polish in the bottle reminded me of the tiffany's box, so i was going for a play on the teal box with white bow with this color blocking. however, the teal is too teal for it to be tiffany's, but that's ok it's still a good color. my husband pointed out that they look like retro bobbers, which made me think of doing cute nautical flags some time with blues and reds and maybe yellow.  i used the blue painters tape again to create the lines. i used the teal as my base and the white is masked on top of that. they look fantastic and i do like the retro bobber idea.
