monday manicure

i don't have any of those manicure sticks that have a point at one end so instead i attempted to make polka dot nails using a q-tip. i peeled off as much of the cotton on one end as i possibly could, but there was still fuzzies left behind that got in the way of making nice dots - although it still did the job pretty well. i should have had a straw on hand to easily get rid of any bubbles that appeared in the polka dots, i just hadn't thought of that ahead of time. the blue/grey polish that i used as a base is revlon's chic - which is a really nice color all by itself. and the lime green dots are revlon's zealous. next time i use these colors i might do a zealous base with chic french tips.
